Dragan Gacic nagrada Zlatni beocug 2019The Golden Beočug Award for 2019 was awarded for the 49th time in the National Theatre of Belgrade on 21st September 2020.
 
The Golden Beočug was established in 1970 and it has been ever since awarded by cultural and educational community of Belgrade to artists, performers, scientists, ensembles, organizations and institutions that had made permanent contributions to the cultural life of Belgrade cherishing and encouraging true values. Initiators of the award were Vasko Popa, who named the award, Radomir Stević Ras and Jevta Jevtović.01
 
This year the jury had to choose between 142 candidates. One of the awarded individuals who had made a permanent contribution to the cultural life of the capital was director of the Historical Archives of Belgrade MA Dragan Gačić. He was recognized for his devoted multiannual effort and for results he has achieved in the field of culture especially during the period he has been director of the Historical Archives of Belgrade from 2009.
