Beograd Moskva 2017Manifestation Belgrade Days in Moscow will be held in the capital of the Russian Federation from 25th until 27th May 2017, with a goal to straighten cooperation between the two nations. It is a mutual project of Belgrade and Moscow and the Mayor Siniša Mali will be the head of the Serbian capital delegation there.

The Belgrade Days in Moscow will be the opportunity for Belgrade to present its economic and tourist potentials as well as one piece of its cultural inheritance. Within the cultural program of the manifestation, several events are organized: a visit to the Nikola Tesla Museum in the Cultural Center ZIL in Moscow and a photograph exhibition Belgrade – an Ancient City on the Gogolevski Boulevard. The Belgrade Corner will be organized in the center of the city. Folklore ensemble Talija and children’s ensemble Kosovski bozuri will perform there, followed by Emir Kusturica’s film festival that will present to the Russian audience his movie On the Milky Road.
 
Historical Archives of Belgrade is participating in this manifestation with the exhibition Belgrade – Ancient City. The visitors will be able to walk through the history of Serbian capital presented on 60 exhibition panels and to meet prehistoric, Celtic, Roman, Slavic Medieval, Turkish and Austrian Belgrade.

Exhibition panels present the development of Belgrade, from Turkish town into European modern city. They also narrate how many times Belgrade was conquered, liberated, bombed and how many times it rose from the ashes. The photographs showing today’s modern Belgrade are followed by selected documents, engravings, charters, projects and old photographs preserved in the Historical Archives of Belgrade. Put together, they reveal Belgrade’s past, present and vision of future Belgrade.
Authors of the exhibition wanted also to emphasize great contribution of the Russian people to the development of Serbian culture and society.
