The first workshop within the project Promotion of the Digital Repository was held on the 11th of February 2021 in the Gallery of the Archives. The participants of the workshop were pupils of the elementary school Radojka Lakić and pupils from the Regional Talent Center Belgrade 2. The Digital Repository is an online platform which to the registered users offers one million digitized residence certificates of Belgrade and Zemun citizens and visitors in the period from 1922 to 1952, 811 digitized church registers kept on the territory of Belgrade in the 19th and first half of the 20th century and 52 digitized books of registered families of Zemun in the end of 19th and beginning of the 20th century. After the presentation of the Repository, held by an archivist Marko Peric, the pupils were given research tasks which could be solved only by using the digital archival material.
The project Promotion of the Digital Repository is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information and it includes two workshops for pupils and faculty students and one workshop for the archivists.
