Seminar At the Source Training and Development program, organized by National Library of Israel and Rothschild Foundation (Hanadiv) Europe, was held in the Historical Archives of Belgrade on Wednesday, November 1st 2017. The program deals with capacity building, skill development and networking with Jewish archives in South East Europe.
Archivists from Historical Archives of Belgrade - Tijana Kovčić, Jelena Nikolić and Marko Perić presented to the participants of the seminar and other distinguished guests projects that have been successfully implemented in previous period and one research that is being conducted at the moment.
At the Source seminar consists of two parts. First part was realized in Belgrade from the 30th October until the 3rd November and the second part will be held in Jerusalem from 6th until 12th of January. Participants of the program are all employed in archives, museums and other cultural institutions from Serbia and the region.
The seminar was organized and implemented by Caron Sethill (NLI), Robin Nobel (RFHE), Yochai Ben-Gedalia (NLI) and Katja Schmid (RFHE/University Comlutence Madrid) and it was significantly complemented by the lectures of professor Milan Ristović, professor Jelena Erdeljan, Vesna Miović, Gabor Kadar (Yerusha project), Nenad Makuljević, Haris Dajč, Biljana Albahari and others.
