Bilateral cooperation between the Historical Archives of Celje and the Historical Archives of Belgrade which has existed since 2015 and has been implemented throughout various professional trainings, was continued in August 2024.
Bojan Kocev, a bookbinder and Aleksandar Gačić, an associate in digitization processes, both from the Department for Digitization, Microfilm and Technical Protection of the Archival Material in the Historical Archives of Belgrade were invited by director Borut Batagelj to visit Slovenian archives form 1st until 11th August 2024 and to exchange their experiences with the colleagues from Celje.
The working visit included visits to the Archives of Slovenia, with special tour to the Center for Conservation and Restoration of Archival Material; the Regional Museum Ptuj Ormož and the Archives of Ptuj.
