Collection contents authobiographies, chronicles, monographies, geneaologies, manuscripts, notes and books. a page of trade Agreement, 1606The oldest books kept in the Archives, written in Ottoman Turkish and Latin, belong to this collection. The oldest document from the XVI century is Dialog between Ottoman Turk and Christian. A part of the collection which consider documents from Ottoman period, contents scripts from Quran from the XVII century, Scribing manual from 1760, Tezkere issued in 1820 to tradesman Ratković, Book of fetvas which belonged to the sheriat judge, describing the legal solutions for daily problems that have happened in the Town. The oldest document written in Latin is Trade contract from 1606. This collection keeps also the Authobiography of Luka Mladenović with Album of the old Belgrade, Danica Perić's monography of the family Karabiber with three geneaologymaps and manuscripts of Milivoje Kostić on life and work of Belgrade economists in the XIX and XX century.Book of fetvas

Collection of Photographs XIX–XX century

Includes General Collection which contains 2.079 photos of persons, events and places, 5 albums of: the manager of the City of Belgrade, the old Belgrade, Slavija square, American Mission and constructing of Belgrade Publishing Institute (BIGZ), 167 glass plates and digitized photographs. Digitized photographs of World War II crimes are separated as special thematic unit the same as photos of the Collection of Labour and Liberation movement and afterwar construction.

As a material of exceptional importance, church registers are a first-rate source. Church registers were created as church private legal documents about persons who are members of a certain religious community. In Christian churches, the most important registers are the registers of baptisms, marriages and deaths. The obligation to keep church registers was introduced in Serbia around 1837.
The books created by other religions, include six registry books from the Jewish municipality (Sephardi and Eshkenazi) for the period from 1865 to 1909.
The books provide data on the Belgrade population, birth rate and mortality, social origin, significant historical figures: rulers, politicians, artists, merchants...

Collection of diplomas, charters and appointments 1800–1934
content:
Collection includes 80 diplomas, charters and appointments - War Medals, official and school acknowledgements with decorative wax seals and lace collars. Diploma of the Family Ljubiša is the oldest and represents the transcript validated in Trieste in 1800. Among those of great worth are diplomas of Metropolitan Mihailo from Moscow, Kievo and Kazan spiritual academy with decorative wax seals and colorful frames and engravings. Charter of Franc Josef I originated from 1856 assigning noble title to Paul Georg Spirta, Zemun tradesman, is kept in its original metal box. Its written manually on parchment, protected with cover of red plush, bond with yellow-red welts, ornamentally decorated, but special decoration represents wax seal placed in oval box hanging on golden cord.
